question about cusco coilovers

ok so this guy might part his car out. it has these cusco coilovers he wants 750 for. he claims they go for 2042.00. i really want and need coilovers and heres my chance. Im wondering if these coils are good quality(gonna dd/track occasionally, street slide occasionally) and my main concern is how low they go. i want to be fkin hella dumped lol. so nico chime in thx.

Okay i swapped my SR myself i got it from JSAMotors and it started up immediately on the first turn on the key no hesitation so i was happy....but it sounds like pure s***. The motor sounds like its running fine but there is a really loud clicking/rattling noise (on top of the super loud exhaust that has no cat or muffle on it yet) The only guesses ive accumulated so far are that maybe an oil line to the turbo is blocked clogged or hooked up wrong? Or maybe my timing is off? I I need to look up how the timing works on the distributor-less motor how do i adjust igniton timing without it? I didn't use a torque wrench on the turbo lines cause i don't have one......i just guessed/tried to put them on the same i took them off.
Someone please help i've had numerous people over there and all they say is 'could be anything' and then leave.

Dead Pedal Pad gone for 2010

I noticed in a lot of pics folks seem to have a plastic glued on pad on the dead pedal (left foot) spot in the Versa. My 2010 does not seem to have this, only plain carpet there. Is this a 2010 thing or did they forget to glue it on in mine?

I solved the problem by getting a square-ish all weather rubber floor mat and cutting a corner off to fit there. It's thick enough it sits and doesn't move at all due to the little nubs underneath. Actually, I think it looks better than that pad they put in, I'll try and post pics later.

ok my friend was running around 15 pounds on a stock t25 with stock side mount, 255 fp, pretty much stock sr20det... ok will we was doing a pull just messing around and he was in the top of 4th and then white smoke comes pooring out of the bottom of the car. He told me the car shut off as soon as it happen. we pop the hood and there's oil everywhere , the dip stick got blown almost all the way out, but there wasn't any signs where oil could come from besides that.. we turned over a couple times and it sounded like there was no compression... we pulled the plugs... cylinder 1 look like detonation.. the spark plug was not black at all and the tip of it was kinda chiped/scrached off. cylinder 2 3 4 was full of oil.. which is not good... we need some of ur opinions.. we think that it might have jumped timing and when that happen the cam shaft sensor would make the engine cut off.. but how would the cylinders have oil in them?

It sill turns over fine with no knocks we can here.
the boost was cranked up but it should be know where near breaking internal wise.
Cylinder 1 could have detnat when all the vavles where closed and when that happend it had no where to let the pressure out so it blew off the dip stick and runind the rings in the other cylinders..

Theres a couple more things.. we just wanna make sure we have a good start so we can figure out what went wrong.. well no f***ing flamming for those that wanna be faggits

Okay,

I own a 93 240 sx/se coupe fast back. Manual transmisson, 154K milage. hAS THE 2.4L DOHC engine. I love my car, i never beat on it, only on occasions which are rare. My car is all stock also. No rice burner stuff. I will try to explain my problem the best i can.

When i first start my car it idles at like 750-1000 rpm and the motor shakes, but after it warms up it idles at 1600rpm and the motor quites shaking. Takes like minute for it to warm up.
When i go out to drive and get up to 60 mph and take it out of gear to come to a stop it idles at 1100 when i coast and when i come to a complete stop it goes back to 1600-1700 rpm.
Also, when im at a light and going to turn left or right i release the clutch in first gear and move slowly in rpms and i go to shift into second gear and slowly ride up to 3000 rpm to shift again and during that rise in RPM in 2nd gear feels like i loose pressure in my gas pedal, like it boggs and rpms want to fall a little bit.
And when im driving down the road at 60 MPH, i've also experienced this problem to, when i first start to feel my car bogg or whatever it does i either take it out of gear and it goes to its regular idle at 1600-1700 RPM. Or i down shift. Which i think i have this problem cause of the Missfire.

Now after i repaired the Cap & Rotor the Missfire got better and not as bad at all, i can barley hear it now. Still Idled the same though.

But, PLEASE HELP ME! I love my car to death, i've been studying about 240's ever since i got one i have read up on them, tons of post over and over.. I would really pay anyone to help me figure this out cause not even a In Town mechanic can figure it out. So to all the 240's Experts I NEED YOUR ADVICE/HELP WHATEVER YOU CAN REPLY WITH I WILL TRY.

for timing by adjusting CAS do i have to still have a wire going from #1 coil to spark plug or can the engine be timed running on just the 5 with the #1 coil unplugged so the timing light can attach?
